TALKS FOR CHANGE

Travelling across the UK, delivering 100 talks, in 20 days, to over 10,000 students.

Proud to partner with Hays, a renowned leader in the recruitment and human resources industry; and Accor, a world leading hotel group.

Together, we share a profound passion for driving positive change and making a difference in the world.

Why?

420,000 children a month

are being treated for mental health problems.

It starts in early years

50% of mental health problems are established by age 14.

An increasing problem

In the last three years, the likelihood of young people having a mental health problem has increased by 50%.

One in six children affected

One in six children aged five to 16 were identified as having a probable mental health problem in 2021. That’s five children in every classroom.

The vision

It’s no secret that we are in a mental health crisis, especially within education. Our youth are struggling with depression, anxiety, self-harm, eating disorders, and suicidal thoughts more than any generation before them.

About 1,500,000 under-18s will need new or extra help with their mental health as a direct result of Covid.

We don’t want CHANGE, we need it.

About us

It’s our individual mental health journies that have led us to this point. We’ve been through dark times and overcome many hurdles, but we’re now able to see the light and use our experience to inspire positive change.
